There are many ways to support the rich and diverse talents of ArtWorking’s artists and their contribution to the local and regional arts communities.
The Artworking program provides support in tandem with our Supported Self Employment program in order to provide a seamless transition from fostering artistic growth to developing a small business.
As a standing partner with UW Madison and Edgewood College, ArtWorking typically engages students working towards degrees in art therapy, rehabilitation psychology, or special education or taking a service-oriented course during Fall and Spring semesters.
We welcome volunteers of all sorts. Volunteers may or may not work directly our artists and are welcome to share other skills in order to help out (for example: framing construction, digital media support, etc.). We also welcome volunteers to assist in community events such as local art fairs.
