Jeanne has developed her practice using two different catapults and hundreds of paint and mixed media combinations over the course of 3 years. She currently uses a custom-made aluminum catapult which allows her to control the angle, direction and velocity of paint being flung toward her painting surface. It is typical for Jeanne to develop 2 or more paintings at one time: One attached to the wall upon which the catapulted paint and media drip and one attached to the floor upon which the paint and media accumulate, augment, and marble. Her sensitivity to color leads her to be meticulous in her approach to achieving harmony and balance in her compositions, carefully combining and mixing colors until she is satisfied. Each individual painting expresses something different; they are all individuals. Jeanne is most proud of a painting she claimed for herself because it is the one piece that expressed her.
