Holiday Gift Fair and Cookie Walk
Thursday December 13th from 5pm to 8pm at the Fountain Resource Center (ARTworking Studio) 1945 W. Broadway.
We are having an event and fundraiser for the ARTworking program. We have invited very different artists to come and sell their work and products in conjunction with a cookie-walk fund raiser. The artists will keep all sales revenue from their merchandise while money from the cookie walk will be used to buy supplies for ARTworking member artists. Portfolio Photography (now available by appointment)
ARTworking would like to announce the an opportunity for photographing peoples artwork for portfolio purposes. This opportunity is available to members and non-members of ARTworking. Interested artists may contact us to arrange a time.Each artist can bring roughly 20 individual artworks if they are not over-sized (more than 4 feet in any dimension) 3D artists should check first to make sure that we are set up properly to meet your needs. Images will be burned to a cd-rom which the artist will take with them. We are be using a high resolution digital SLR and specialized lighting. Some color balancing may be done on site as well if needed. Cost is $40 for up to 20 images total.
The Fountain and ARTworking will be having a booth at the Willy St Fair this year to spread the word about our new opportunities. We are Also excited to be co-sponsoring a booth with three local artists, Nikki Ordaz, Jeanne xxx and Lakesha ???. Nikki is a sculptor that make colorful chracters from polymer clay. Jeanne also works in polymer to fabricate richly colored beads and other related items and Lakesha is well know for her beautiful hand-made jewlry. Come by and see us on Sunday September 16th someplace near the 900 block of Williamson St. The Fair hours are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
